Jacksonville Beach Fishing Pier

Almost a quarter mile long, Jacksonville Beach Fishing Pier offers up-close views of the Atlantic Ocean and access to species of deep-water fish. Open from 6AM to 10PM (7PM in the winter), the pier is also home to a bait shop, concession stand and restrooms.

Rules & Regulations

Stay safe at Jacksonville Beach by knowing the rules. Stay off the sand dunes, don’t pick the sea oats and don’t bring any alcoholic beverages or glass bottles to the beach. Surfers must have their boards tethered to one leg while in the water, and jet skis must stay 300 feet off of the beach.

What are the rules for bringing pets to the beach?


Pets are only allowed on the beach from 5PM to 9AM. They must be leashed and have a current rabies tag, and all pet droppings must be immediately removed from the beach.

Jacksonville Beach is a tourist hot spot, so you’ll find a huge array of restaurants, bars and nightlife.
